Want to hang out with our residents and help care for them? We are trying to arrange one day a week to have a group of people help with larger tasks that would be daunting for just two people.

This day's focus will be the chicken coops. Scraping, sweeping, vacuuming the roosting areas, replacing new bedding. Raking and removing soiled ground in runs, then replace with fresh mulch. Deep cleaning feeders and waterers. Potentially adding more enrichment into their runs.

With all these tasks completed we will be able to keep the flock healthy and happy. Plus they really like new bedding and mulch!
